Pictures From My Visits Of Hayle And St Ives Bay

Welcome to this part of my website, featuring pictures from my visits of Cornwall related to the picturesque seaside resort of St Ives and Hayle. St Ives is one of the most popular seaside resorts in Cornwall and like Dawlish, it has its railway station situated on the sea front, rather then in the centre. Hayle is a 18th century town located in the estuary of St Ives Bay and is one of the largest wild bird sanctuaries in the country, with its marshes and sand dunes. Hayles history relates to the Copper Mining Industry and is ideal for a short or long holiday break, with plenty of nice walks around its estuary.

St Ives. Like Robin Hoods Bay, situated on The Yorkshire Coast, this is one of the resorts narrow alleys, which gives it that similar character.
