My Visits Of Torquay

Welcome to this part of my website featuring pictures regarding my visits of Torquay, Devon's most popular holiday resort. It is on the English Riviera and as a result with its palm tree appearance it has Continental weather compared to other seaside resorts in the British Isles. The pictures starting from the top, in the order of 1 to 14 are from a visit during 2004 and feature most of the towns sea front views including the magnificent ancient building of Tore Abbey. The pictures in the order of 15 to 21 feature  Babbacombe and the nearby Town of St Mary's Church. The main attractions of Babbacombe is the cliff railway and Babbacombe Open Theatre, situated at the cliff top of Oddicombe Beach. The Model Village and Bygones Museum is also a must for model railway fans. The pictures in the order of 22 to 25 are from a evening cruise of Torbay. For anyone planning on visiting this fantastic part of the UK, Martin from Blue Chip Holidays has kindly requested this link Torquay Holiday Cottages & Apartments - Blue Chip Holidays UK
