Pictures From My Visits Of South West Cornwall

Welcome to this part of my website featuring pictures from my visit of South West Cornwall. This part of the coast is England's most Westerly, ranging from historic fishing villages and Market Towns. Lands End is the most busy and popular tourist attraction and makes a visit of Cornwall very rewarding. This area of England dates back to the industrial history of Tin Mining and the site remains around the open countryside gives evidence.    

Penzance. This scene is on the sea front, looking towards the North Pier and was taken during the Spring of 2005.

Penzance. This is looking down Chapel Street, one of the oldest streets of the town and was taken on my Spring visit, during 2005.

Penzance. This is looking up Market Jew Street, the main Shopping area of the town and was taken during my Spring visit of 2005.

Mousehole. This scene is looking towards The South West side of The Harbour and was taken during my Spring visit of 2005.

Lands End. Cornwall and England's most Western Point and this scene is looking NW towards the last refreshment place, on mainland Britain.

Land End. This Scene is looking West of The Atlantic Ocean towards Long Ships Lighthouse.

Lands End. This Scene is looking West of The Atlantic Ocean towards the rocks of Armed Knight.

Lands End. This is looking towards the first and last refreshment place in England and was taken during the Spring of 2005.

Lands End. This scene is looking towards the Suspension Bridge, with a nice clear view of The Atlantic Ocean towards The West.

Lands End. This is looking North West of The Atlantic Ocean, towards Dr Syntax's Head and Senneh Cove.

St Just. England's most Westerly town and this scene is looking into The Market Place, towards The Kings Arms Pub.

St Just. This Scene is looking towards The Memorial Clock Tower, with a back view of North Row and was taken during my spring visit of 2005.

St Michael's Mount. Taken during a family wedding at The Station Inn public house, overlooking St Mounts Bay near Penzance.
